Samantha Levitin, the chief client officer of LMPR Communications, and Michael Levitin, a portfolio manager at MidOcean Credit Partners, first connected on The League app in November 2019. Ahead of their first date, Samantha fought her way through New York City traffic while Michael sipped on a cocktail at the bar and calmed his nerves, which shortly dissipated when she arrived; the pair enjoyed a three-hour dinner date together at ABC Cocina. “I even managed to squeeze in a few words,” Michael jokes. “Safe to say it was an unforgettable and truly wonderful date.” In April 2023, exactly 1,234 days after that first meeting, Michael proposed to Samantha outside the very same restaurant. “As a testament to New York City, we had people clapping from taxis and cheering from side streets when they saw Michael down on one knee,” Samantha says.

From the start, the pair envisioned a modern, winter-white wedding. “Michael and I live in New York City and when it came to choosing a venue for our wedding, being close to my childhood home felt exceptionally meaningful,” she says of their decision to plan and host their celebration just outside the city where it all began. The couple invited 186 guests to The Opus in White Plains, New York, to celebrate their nuptials on November 18, 2023. “I was drawn to the modern aesthetic of the venue, and its convenience for most of our guests,” the bride explains.
